Cionic, developer of FES-powered Neural Sleeve, seeks SCI community's feedback

A San Francisco-based company, Cionic, recently received FDA approval for its Neural Sleeve, a legging that provides functional electrical stimulation (FES) so people with foot drop and muscle weakness can walk more easily. The sleeve's electrical stimulation helps users flex the foot upwards and curl the toes toward the sole, making it easier to move. Ushering in a new age of wearable technology, the Cionic Neural Sleeve is the first product to combine movement analysis and augmentation into a wearable garment. The device has also shown promising results in treating muscle atrophy and though they have seen some success in testing a limited number of individuals with incomplete spinal cord injuries, the company wants to learn how to adapt its device to help the broader SCI community and are asking for your participation in a 2-minute online survey which you can complete HERE.
