Reeve Foundation seeks family members as peer mentors

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s Peer & Family Support Program provides one-on-one peer mentoring to the paralysis community. The program is currently seeking family members of individuals living with paralysis to become certified peer mentors. Family member mentors help parents, spouses/partners, siblings, and adult children of loved ones with paralysis face their own unique needs and challenges by providing crucial support, guidance and information.

The Peer & Family Support Program will be holding a virtual peer mentor training specifically or family members on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM Pacific Time;

The training will be held via Zoom and led by program staff.

In addition to attending the training, individuals must complete an online application (prior to the training); agree to a code of conduct; and consent to a background check (which is conducted and paid for by the ReeveFoundation) to become a mentor.
