Accessible Kayaking Opening Again at Vasona Lake

LGS Recreation's boating center at Vasona Lake in Los Gatos will open for the season in mid-April, operating on weekends only.

Starting in early May, the accessible dock will be open on Sundays for Adaptive Kayaking. More information on the Adaptive Kayaks and Equipment is available on the LGS Recreation Website.

The County of Santa Clara made a considerable investment in building the dock which so far has been under utilized. This is the only accessible dock in Santa Clara County and we would encourage the community to make the most of this inclusive facility.

The boating center will be open 7 days a week when the school holidays begin in the June time frame. The Adaptive Kayaking daily schedule is still to be determined and will be dependent on demand.
