Adaptive Cycling Adventure at Alviso Marina County Park
Hidden gems are rare in the Bay Area, but Alviso Marina County Park is exactly that. Nestled at the edge of the San Francisco Bay, this park offers a stunning backdrop of salt marshes and expansive water views. It is a vibrant ecosystem where you can spot diverse wildlife and unique bird species while navigating the serene shoreline trails.
On Sunday, May 17th, NorCal SCI is partnering with the experts at BORP to bring the community together for a day of movement, fresh air, and great company. Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or trying out adaptive equipment for the first time, BORP will be on-site with a variety of handcycles and foot trikes to ensure everyone has the right fit for the terrain.
Event Schedule
10:30 AM: Equipment fitting and adjustments with the BORP team.
11:00 AM: The ride begins! We will head out to explore the scenic Alviso trails.
12:30 PM: Ride wrap-up and regroup.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your friends and family along—they are more than welcome to join the ride on their own two-wheelers. Please remember to bring your own water and plenty of snacks to stay fueled and hydrated while we are out on the trails.
How to Register
Space is limited for equipment use, so please register for the ride or ask specific equipment questions by contacting Leo at leo@borp.org or by calling 510-225-7034.
We look forward to seeing you out on the trails!
