Farewell Mia Natalia from the NorCal SCI Board

After nearly two years serving on the NorCal SCI Board of Directors, Mia Natalia has decided to step down from the board. We are grateful and thankful to Mia for her service and commitment to the Northern California SCI community.

Since suffering her own SCI, Mia has always maintained a genuine passion to help others who suffer SCIs and to find ways to inspire and motivate them to seek a great quality of life. She has done so with her coaching and personal business pursuits as well as her own nonprofit work with the Philomath Center.

One of the highlights of Mia’s tenure with us was the webinar she facilitated earlier this year, discussing the change in identity that occurs following a SCI and dealing with some of the mental health challenges that are common to people having their lives turned upside down from a traumatic injury.

We wish Mia the best and look forward to engaging with her for future needs, especially in the Fresno area. All the best to you Mia!
