Larger R2R Grants Available Now for Home & Vehicle Modifications!

NorCal SCI is excited to announce that thanks to our recently awarded Neilsen Foundation grant, we are able to provide larger grant amounts for some of our Road to Recovery applicants.

Until now, the maximum amount we were able to provide for all R2R grants was $2500 but thanks to the funding provided by our Neilsen grant, applicants looking to make minor home modifications or vehicle adaptations (e.g. hand controls, ramps, adaptive equipment) can apply for up to $4,000 of funding!

Our R2R grant is meant to make the largest possible quality of life impact for people living with SCI and this change to our program will allow us to continue to help residents with SCIs to thrive and achieve greater independence.

Applicants must meet all existing requirements for the grant, including not having received a R2R grant in the previous two years.
