Have you ever been asked invasive interview questions like, "How do you get to work?" or "Do you need a personal attendant?" Though legally off-limits, these situations still happen. To help you eliminate the guesswork, a free, 7-part virtual workshop series is launching to help job seekers navigate the job market confidently and professionally.

Presented by Jill Day—an HR Area Director at U.S. Foods and a member of the disability community—this series moves beyond boilerplate advice. What makes this program unique is that every session skillfully weaves in strategies for managing questions and assumptions about personal disabilities, alongside core career topics like resume preparation, disclosure, online branding, and interviewing.

The sessions run sequentially to mirror the real-world job preparation process. Attendees are highly encouraged to attend all seven parts to get the full benefit, but if you have to miss a session, it is completely fine—recordings will be posted on the website and LinkedIn page so you can catch up.

  • When: Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM starting August 4:

    • 8/4, 8/11, 8/18, 8/25 and 9/1, 9/8, 9/15

  • Format: A concise 20–30 minute presentation followed immediately by a live Q&A session.

  • Flexibility: Each workshop acts as a standalone event, so you can easily view any missed recordings later.
