ROLL & Connect brings together SCI community in Fresno

Our Fresno ROLL & Connect Meet Up on June 8th turned out to be a huge success! Thanks to the organizing efforts of our Board Member, Mia Natalia, we had 40 attendees from the SCI/D community come together for an empowering day of connection and resources.

The event highlighted several local SCI-related vendors, including Coloplast, Permobil, Valley Children’s Adaptive Sports, Central California Adaptive Sports Center, Philomath Center, Community Regional Medical Center, Lighthouse Medical Transportation, and the Kelly Brush Foundation. All attendees received a bag with the NorCal Flyer in it and were able to go around networking and grab free things from vendor tables.

We want to extend a huge thank you to SCI-Fit Fresno for co-hosting with us, and to DGO Detailing and 559MobileDetailing for offering free wheelchair steam cleaning. We’re also incredibly grateful to MEGA Texas BBQ for generously donating barbecue sandwiches and sides, and to Inspired Photography for beautifully capturing the day.

This was a meaningful step toward building a more connected and supported SCI community in the Fresno region. Check out some of the photos below
