Ready to Roll? Try Out the Fast-Paced Thrills of Sacramento Power Soccer!

Power soccer delivers high-energy, fast-paced action specifically designed for individuals who use power wheelchairs—and manual wheelchair users can jump right in by transferring into a power chair for practices and games. Played on a basketball court with customized footguards and an oversized ball, this co-ed sport brings together players of all ages and skill levels for pure strategy, teamwork, and fun.

Sacramento Power Soccer is opening its doors for new players, and there is zero commitment to give it a shot. Whether aiming to play casually or compete at a high level, players can choose the track that best fits their vibe:

  • Academy Squad: Focus on honing skills, practicing with the team, and joining optional tournaments when ready.

  • Varsity Squad: Step into a highly competitive arena featuring tournament travel and top-tier match play.

Anyone curious can test the waters with a couple of free practices before making any decision. If players decide to stick around, player dues are kept as low as possible to cover gym rentals and team costs.

There is no need to wait for the season opener—new players can drop in at any scheduled practice throughout the fall and winter. Practices take place on select weekends from September through December, split between the George Sim Community Center in Sacramento and the Andy Morin Sports Complex in Folsom.

Because specialized gear is provided, prospective players just need to give the team a heads-up before showing up so the right equipment is ready to go. Ready to roll? Click HERE to view the full schedule, get in touch, and sign up for a test run.
