Your Voice, Your Health: Help Shape the Future of SCI Resources

Research regarding the sexual and reproductive health of young people with disabilities is often overlooked—but your personal experience can change that. The Lurie Institute for Disability Policy is looking for young adults to join a groundbreaking study that will directly impact how our community accesses health information.

By sharing your story, you aren’t just contributing to data; you’re helping build a brand-new website designed specifically to teach youth with disabilities how to navigate their own health and advocacy.

Who Can Participate?

If you meet these criteria, the research team wants to hear from you:

  • Age: Between 15 and 25 years old.

  • Location: Born in and currently living in the United States.

  • Connection: Have a physical disability (such as an SCI) or other health condition.

  • Communication: Able to participate in a Zoom call in English or ASL.

What’s Involved?

  • A 1-Hour Conversation: You’ll join a private Zoom call to discuss your health needs and experiences.

  • Total Accessibility: ASL interpretation and other accommodations are provided upon request.

  • A "Thank You" for Your Time: Every participant receives a $50 gift card as a token of appreciation for their insight.
