SCI MOBILE CLINIC PROGRAM
After the successful Mobile Clinic Pilot in September 2018 in San Luis Obispo, we held another Mobile Clinic in Modesto in April 2019.
We then returned to San Luis Obispo in September 2019 and held another clinic.
Our clinics provide individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries the opportunity to have a free consultation with medical professionals with specific expertise in SCI/D.
At our mobile clinics, we have a Nurse Practitioner, an Occupational Therapist, a Registered Dietitian and a Physical Therapist who specialize in Spinal Cord Injury medicine. The Nurse Practitioner specializes in spasticity and is knowledgeable in skin care and bowel and bladder care while the OT and PT have between them many years of experience treating individuals specifically with SCI/D. The Dietician works directly with the SCI community both in acute rehab and in the community.
We also have the capability to perform minor repairs to equipment including wheelchairs.
