New study seeks to advance theory behind the power of V2a Cells in the spinal cord

There are currently dozens of studies or clinical trials taking place around the world in a race to find a cure for spinal cord injury and while it's frustrating for the person with SCI to wait around for years, there's nevertheless a major push in the effort to conquer this debilitating condition.

One new study that involved the role of V2a cells was recently unveiled by the scientists at the Salk Institute in California.  Additionally, scientists at the Gladstone Institutes and University of California are pursuing a different track while those at the Lane Lab are also pursuing different application of these cells.
