CIL offers wheelchair tennis and adaptive archery classes in January
The Center for Independent Living (CIL) is offering a wheelchair tennis clinic in Alameda on Sat., Jan. 12th as well as partnering with The Redwood Bowmen Archery Club to bring you a day of adaptive archery in the Oakland Hills on Sun., Jan. 27th.
The wheelchair tennis clinic is held at College of Alameda Tennis Courts, 2350 5th St., Alameda from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees can learn or practice tennis skills with The CIL. The clinic is free and open to players of all ages and abilities. Equipment and lunch are provided at no cost. REGISTER HERE.
The adaptive archery class takes place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the woods where the range truly transports you to another world away from the city. There is limited space available for this event, with a fee of $5 to hold your spot. You must RSVP for this event by 1/25/19. Individuals of all abilities and ages, plus friends and family are also welcomed. The Redwood Bowmen Archery Club is located at 10900 Skyline Blvd, Oakland. REGISTER HERE.
