NorCal SCI offering internship positions

We're excited to offer a couple of internship positions to qualified applicants who want to be a part of the excitement and gratification of contributing to the success of NorCal SCI as we celebrate our first anniversary and are building tremendous momentum to better serve the SCI community in Northern California.

At a minimum, applicants must have completed high school and be able to devote 240 hours between May 15 and October 15 of this year and the schedule is very flexible.  You'll have an opportunity to learn new skills while getting exposed to the various activities and tasks involved with running a progressive non-profit organization.

You'll be working with a few all-around nice guys (if we can say that about ourselves) motivated by one thing:  to enable people living with a Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder in Northern California to experience life not defined by a disability and help them thrive and live productively.  As part of your responsibilities, we'll involve you with helping us with our events, grow our resource directory, develop relationships with the various organizations and agencies throughout Northern California, attend support group meetings, and much more.

Truly, what you gain from this experience will translate into a lot of assistance to many individuals in need and there's no better feeling than that.  We're a small non-profit with major aspirations to help the SCI community but can offer a $500 scholarship upon completion of the internship though we're sure the right candidates are not doing this for the money.

If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, please send us an e-mail with your interest to info@norcalsci.org.  Individuals of all physical abilities are encouraged to apply.
