Silicon Valley Wheelchair Tennis Open comes to Santa Clara Aug. 4-5

The South Bay Smash Wheelchair Tennis Team is collaborating with Far West Wheelchair Athletics Association to bring to Santa Clara the 18th Annual Silicon Valley Wheelchair Tennis Open on Sat. and Sun., Aug. 4-5 on the campus of Santa Clara University, providing a spectacular opportunity to watch highly-skilled wheelchair users in action.

It's a great opportunity to not only watch some great talent out on the courts but also talk to the players and find out how you can learn to play wheelchair tennis through the programs that the Smash Wheelchair Team offers.

All the activities begin at 9 a.m. on both days and the tennis courts are located at the Degheri Tennis Center near the corner of El Camino Real and Accolti in Santa Clara.
