Tickets now on sale for 4th Annual Ed Roberts Awards on Jan. 23

The Center for Independent Living is holding its 4th Annual Ed Roberts Awards ceremony on Thurs., Jan. 23rd at the UC Theatre in Berkeley to honor this year’s recipients, actor RJ Mitte, Tony Award-Winner Ali Stroker, Disability Fashion Stylist Stephanie Thomas and James T. Fousekis, a long time supporter of CIL. The award ceremony is a celebration of disability in the world of entertainment and media.

RJ is best known for the character of Walter Jr. on the hit TV series Breaking Bad. Ali is the first actress who uses a wheelchair for mobility to appear on a Broadway stage, and to be nominated for and win a Tony Award. Stephanie is the founder of Cur8able and is considered a disability fashion styling expert.
