Community input needed for FES Bike Project at the Timpany Center, San Jose

FES RT.png

You may remember this past September when we reported on the availability of Adaptive Exercise Equipment at the Timpany Center in San Jose. In collaboration with the Timpany Center, NorCal SCI is exploring installing an FES Cycle in the gym which will give the opportunity for the SCI Community to access this highly-beneficial equipment free of charge as part of their Gym Membership*.

An FES Cycle is an expensive exercise equipment and it can be challenging to get access to use one on a regular basis. If there is sufficient interest, NorCal SCI is committed to installing one at the Timpany Center and provide the necessary training and scheduling to allow multiple individuals benefit from its use.
