SCI Active Network to host paraplegic global traveler, Tom Chun, at Oct. 10 meeting in Berkeley

At the age of 22, Tom Chun had a motorcycle accident, leaving him a T-5 complete SCI. Tom made it his goal to travel around the world and has now been to over 50 countries and to all 50 States. In his 20+ years of travel experience in a wheelchair, Tom has been on planes, trains, buses, boats and cruise ships.

At the Thurs., Oct. 10th meeting of the SCI Active Network in Berkeley, Tom will give tips on how he handles airplanes and long flights, what things he looks for in hotels, online resources he uses and general travel trips for wheelchair users.
