We’re thrilled to announce our return visit to Modesto on Sat., March 21st for the 2nd Annual SCI Mobile Clinic where we’ll be holding a free day-long clinic to allow an individual with SCI have a free consultation with medical professionals with specific expertise in SCI/D. We’re grateful to our team of Rebecca Hummel-Moore, nurse practitioner, Carole Adler Hughes, OT, Kyle Smith, PT, and Shelley Wood, a registered dietitian who have volunteered their day to help support the SCI community in Modesto.

The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Modesto offices of Disability Resource Agency for Independent Living (DRAIL). We appreciate their support of this program by making their facility available to us. There are a limited number of appointment slots available. To secure a free appointment, please complete our ONLINE APPOINTMENT APPLICATION.

The Nurse Practitioner specializes in spasticity and is knowledgeable in skin care and bowel and bladder care while the OT, PT and dietitian have between them decades of experience treating individuals specifically with SCI/D. Modesto Mobility Center will also be present to perform minor repairs to equipment including wheelchairs.

DRAIL’s office in Modesto is located at 1101 Sylvan Ave., Suite A-25 (take elevator to the second floor of the building). We also want to strongly urge anyone in the SCI community who doesn’t want to take advantage of this program to still come over to our “Afternoon Meet Up” from 1-3 p.m. and meet others from the community as well as the NorCal SCI team and learn about the various services & programs we offer. We’ll be serving free snacks and beverages for all attendees.
