The Center for Independent Living (CIL) is seeking applicants for two full-time positions with benefits for a Peer Mobility Coach and a Community Advocate & Outreach Coordinator and they are especially eager to find qualified applicants from the disability community to apply for these jobs. As a Peer Mobility Coach, you will work directly with individuals and in small group environments teaching people with disabilities to travel independently within their communities, as well as more general goals around finding assistive technology, using mobility devices, and feeling their overall best. The Community Advocate & Outreach Coordinator (CAOC) actively participates in both local and statewide networks to vigorously advocate for equal rights for individuals with disabilities.

But don’t wait too long before you apply. These are great opportunities to be among your peers and help them learn skills and experiences that are much-needed. You can learn more and apply for the Peer Mobility Coach HERE and for the Community Advocate & Outreach Coordinator position HERE.
