The BORP Revolution 2020: why it's important to show your support
As it enters its 45th year of operation in 2021, now more than ever, Berkeley-based Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program (BORP) is in need of your support to raise critical funding in support of its many recreational services and programs that thousands of people enjoy every year. And, aside from making a cash contribution to BORP, one of the best ways you can help show that support is coming up in just a few weeks when BORP launches The Revolution 2020, a three-day marathon of virtual fitness & recreation activities that participants can take on and help raise a minimum of $210,000 for the organization.
To help carry the load of fundraising for this event, 112 individuals have signed up and pledged to raise their respective funding goals during the event’s three days of virtual programs, cycling, walking, rolling, or strolling, Oct. 2-4. We are pleased to publish the names of these dedicated fundraisers who believe in BORP’s mission to the community. All we ask you to do is to find someone you may know from this list and consider contributing to their fundraising campaign.
To start, review the names below and see if someone you know is participating in this event. Next, go to THIS PAGE and click on the PARTICIPANT button which opens up a field for you to enter the name of the person you seek to support with your donation. Once you find that name, you can fill out the online donation form which will be directed to that person’s fundraising account. Of course, you can always make a general donation as well.
