Fat. Will eating it make you fat? HINT: the answer is unequivocally YES, so don't believe the Keto hype. Fat is an essential element in the kitchen, so how do we use it effectively, minimally and deliciously to eat healthy? What kinds of fat go into what kinds of food? Do you need a bunch of different kinds of fat in order to be an effective home cook? All we can say is be prepared for Arash to put on yet another passionate display of his love for cooking, yes, from his wheelchair on Thurs., Jan. 28th at 5 p.m. PST. You can register for this cooking demonstration HERE.

In this “Cooking with Arash” session, he will focus on answering the questions above and giving you the groundwork for knowing what to buy, what to make and how to use different fats in your cooking, while minimizing it in order to stay healthy, prevent weight gain while eating tasty food. Think it's impossible? Think again.

This free virtual presentation is part of “NorCal SCI Presents: Virtual is the New Reality Series”, funded through a grant from the Reeve Foundation. Once you register, you will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail from us which you should keep to access the virtual event.

Arash experienced his SCI in 2012 as a result of a fall.
