Kaiser Vallejo's Adapted Car and Transportation Expo a Success!

NorCal SCI would like to congratulate the rehab team at Kaiser Vallejo on the inaugural Adapted Car and Transportation Expo which took place last Saturday. In the absence of the Abilities Expo, this event gave much needed exposure to many of the accessible transport options available. Not only was there a wide array of accessible vehicles on display but more importantly, the owners were on hand to demonstrate how their adaptions worked for them opening up many possibilities especially to the newly injured.

We were not just talking about ramp vans, there were Racing Stock Cars, Model X Teslas, Classic 1960s Muscle Cars and even a completely accessible camper van demonstrating what was possible.

A special to thank you to Steve Schmidt and Wyatt Smith for organizing such an important event for the community. NorCal SCI is looking forward to joining the Kaiser Team again next year.
