NorCal SCI Receives $148,000 Neilsen Foundation Grant

The Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, the largest private funder of spinal cord injury causes, has awarded NorCal SCI a two-year, $148,000 grant as part of Neilsen Foundation’s Creating Opportunity & Independence Community Support grant program that seeks to support non profit organizations providing programs and services that are community-driven, empowering, and inclusive of all ages and backgrounds to enhance quality of life.

The program will help NorCal SCI fund some of our most impactful programs including our Staying Driven Virtual Fitness Class, Smart Home Independence Packages (SHIP), and specific categories (home and vehicle modifications) of our Road to Recovery grants.
