Participate in a Research Study for the SCI Community!
TIRR-Memorial Hermann’s Spinal Cord Injury and Disability Research Center, in collaboration with investigators affiliated with the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center and the University of Montana, are in need of participants for a research study on the health and safety of people with a traumatic spinal cord injury. This study seeks to understand the impact of difficult and/or abusive relationships on the health of people with an SCI. You do not need to have experienced difficult relationships or abuse to participate.
If you are interested in participating in the study, you will need to complete a short phone screening to see if you are eligible. Eligible participants will be asked to complete a one-time survey. Participants will receive a small payment for completing the survey.
For more information and to find out if you are eligible, please contact Jessica Rodriguez at 713-797-7245 or email SCIPSstudy@uth.tmc.edu. The flyer also has more information about the study, including eligibility requirements.
