$23,000 in Road To Recovery grants awarded to 9 individuals with SCI

We’re happy to announce the latest recipients of our Road To Recovery grants that supported 9 ambitious individuals in Northern California seeking to accomplish individual goals as part of the recovery from their spinal cord injuries. The grants totaled $23,000 and applied to exercise therapies, weight training and durable medical equipment, and home modification, precisely fulfilling the intended goals of this program.

The 9 recipients are: Vandana Vyas, Antioch; David Robinson, Oakland; Felipe Gonzalez, San Jose; Ruben Casas, Ceres; Michelle Thrasher, Novato; Demetrius McCoy, Richmond; Ethan Scott, Arroyo Grande; Montrell Edwards, Fresno; Pam Weaver, Woodland.
